The Quality Assurance Officer of the University of Algiers 1 chaired a meeting today, Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the university headquarters, with the university’s Quality Assurance Unit (CAQ-Univ. Algiers 1), expanded to include members from the local units (CAQs at the faculty level). The agenda for the meeting included the presentation of activities from the 2023-24 academic year and the planning of activities for the central and local units for the 2024-25 period. The meeting also provided an opportunity to address concerns from the faculty-level units.
In this context, participants emphasized the importance of raising awareness among deans about the role of the Quality Assurance units, the need to facilitate their work, and to provide them with all necessary conditions to fully perform their duties.
Finally, it was agreed that the CAQs at the faculty level will hold regular meetings to establish their activity schedule while being proactive to strengthen their presence on the ground.
